Le monde est divisé en deux. Tu nais beau… bingo ! Tu nais laid… bing tout court. La narratrice dans cet album est née Sirène, moitié femme moitié poisson,
l Aphrodite des mers, celle qui fascine les marins depuis la nuit des temps… BINGO!
Seulement le destin en a fait une Sirène inversée : jambes de déesse et tête de sardine… BING! Une réne-si conçue comme en verlan qui de surcroît chante terriblement faux.
Dans ce long poème, Henri Meunier aborde la différence et la possibilité d en faire un plus quand Nathalie Choux conçoit ses images en jouant magistralement sur le double.

The world is divided in two. You are born beautiful… “bingo”! You are born ugly… bing in short. The narrator in this album was born Mermaid, half woman, half fish,
the Aphrodite of the seas, the one who has fascinated sailors since the dawn of time… BINGO!
Only destiny made her an inverted Mermaid: legs of a goddess and head of a sardine… BING! A “réne-si” designed as if in verlan which, moreover, sings terribly out of tune.
In this long poem, Henri Meunier addresses difference and the possibility of making it more when Nathalie Choux designs her images by masterfully playing on the double.
